Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, lighting, and distribution systems
Perform regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with provincial codes and regulations.
Maintain and repair camp generators and backup power supplies.
Test emergency systems such as fire alarms, exit lighting, and communication wiring.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with camp management, maintenance teams, and outside contractors when necessary.
Preforming commissioning of installed equipment.
Working Conditions
Based at a remote or seasonal camp environment.
Work schedule may include 21 days on and 7 days off.
Exposure to outdoor elements and varied weather conditions.
Compensation
Competitive wage based on certification and experience.
Accommodation and meals are provided on-site.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Red Seal preferred; Apprentice with strong experience may be considered).
Proven knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and problem-solve in remote or outdoor environments.
Experience with generators and temporary power setups an asset.
Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
