We are looking to add a talented Barista to our team! Located at Pacific Blue Cross, the Barista is responsible for but not limited too:
Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
Prepare cold and hot beverages to O&B standards
Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
Monitor food quality and presentation standards
Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
Monitor the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products
Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
Follow all food safety standards and systems
Other duties as assigned or required
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Prior barista experience desirable
Smart Serve Required
High attention to detail and cleanliness
Passionate about customer service
Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
Organizational skills and sales ability
Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests
Experience in a similar environment an asset
