We are currently looking for 2 Cooks to work at our restaurant located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The duties and abilities required are listed as follows:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies;
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, clean kitchen and work areas;
• Tracking the components of each meal to ensure that the final dish is completed in a timely manner;
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances;
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, work under pressure and can pay attention to detail.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Completion of Secondary School and/or Cooking Certificate;
• At least 1 year work experience is an asset.
