About Alfred’s
Alfred’s is a neighbourhood Italian restaurant located in Revelstoke, British Columbia. We are passionate about hospitality, quality ingredients and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
– Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation tasks
– Ensure consistency, quality and presentation standards are maintained
– Assist with menu preparation and daily service requirements
– Maintain inventory and communicate ingredient requirements to management
– Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
– Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations and food preparation areas
– Receive and properly store food deliveries
– Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
Qualifications
– Minimum 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety procedures
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– FoodSafe Level 1 certification is considered an asset
