Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safe guidelines, prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat or preparing sauces, modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests such as reduce salt, remove dairy, assist in cleaning and restocking of dishes and glassware, provide assistance to coworkers, dispose of or properly store leftovers, monitor restaurant food stock, assist with ordering food if required, communicate any equipment deficiencies to Head Chef, provide assistance with end of day tasks, such as emptying garbage and recycling, monitor inventory, maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers.
