We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in our company. Hour based on a 40-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work as required
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
*Coordinate and supervise construction activities.
*Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
*Lead and manage construction teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
*Assign tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
*Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
*Ensure construction meets quality and safety standards.
*Conduct inspections and oversee compliance with building codes and regulations.
*Budget and Cost Management:
*Control costs and minimize project expenses without compromising quality.
*Communication and Reporting:
*Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
*Provide regular progress reports and updates on project status.
*Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
*Address issues and challenges that arise during construction
*Develop and maintain construction schedules.
*Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role.
Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
Certification in construction management (a plus).
Work location will vary depending on Project location ( All projects with-in BC)
