We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will support a variety of construction and industrial projects, contributing to efficient operations and high-quality outcomes. The position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to collaborate with team members and follow direction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport, load, unload, and position construction materials at designated work areas to support daily operations.
• Assist with site setup and teardown, including assembling and dismantling forms, scaffolding, ramps, barricades, and temporary structures.
• Support concrete, asphalt, and related material placement by mixing, pouring, spreading, and supplying materials to equipment and crews as required.
• Work alongside skilled tradespeople and equipment operators to facilitate efficient project execution and workflow.
• Guide and assist heavy equipment operations by signaling, positioning materials, helping secure attachments, and supporting safe equipment movement.
• Participate in groundwork activities such as leveling, grading, trenching, and general excavation support using hand and power tools.
• Assist with installation alignment tasks and other trade-related support activities as required by project scope.
• Contribute to demolition tasks, including dismantling structures and sorting, cleaning, and organizing reusable materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris, handling waste materials, and assisting with spill response and hazard control measures.
• Operate, supply, and maintain basic construction tools and equipment, including pneumatic and mechanical devices, as directed.
• Perform routine equipment care such as lubrication, cleaning, and general upkeep of tools and machinery.
• Assist with site safety practices, including traffic direction, equipment monitoring, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support project needs and team objectives.
Position Requirements:
• Some previous experience as a general construction labourer is considered an asset.
• Experience working on industrial or heavy construction sites is an asset.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a busy construction or industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• On-the-job training will be provided to ensure safe work practices and familiarity with company operations.
