NOC 75110 Concrete Finisher Helper Full Time NEW

We are looking for two full-time concrete labourers to join our team. The successful candidates will assist in forming, placing and finishing concrete sidewalks and curbs and perform related tasks at various job sites.

Rate: 23.08 to 26.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
Hours: 40 to 55 hours per week (permanent employment, full time)

Responsibilities / Tasks
Load, unload and transport construction materials.
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
Move and handle materials such as cement, gravel and reinforcing steel as required.
Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Level earth and base materials to fine grade specifications in preparation for concrete placement.
Set up string-line for curb machine to ensure accurate alignment and grade.
Level and smooth freshly poured concrete surfaces to meet specified grade, depth, and slope requirements.
Apply appropriate finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand tools and power equipment to achieve required texture and appearance.
Operate and clean hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
