Job duties:
• Supervise and care for 3 children aged 6 months to 6 years in employer’s home
• Change diapers, bathe, dress and feed baby
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formula
• Assist children in getting ready for school in the morning
• Prepare school uniforms – including ironing
• Guide children in personal hygiene and daily routines
• Pack school lunches and snacks for older children
• Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
• Support emotional development and encourage positive behavior
• Follow parental guidelines for discipline and behavior management
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for children
• Assist with homework and learning activities
• Organize age-appropriate games, crafts, reading, and outings
• Manage children’s laundry and ensure clothing is clean and organized
• Keep children’s rooms tidy and organized
• Perform daily cleaning of shared household areas (kitchen, bathrooms, living room)
Terms of employment:
• Permanent, full – time position
• Hours: During school year: 7 am to 4 pm– Monday to Friday. Hours may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, and the individual may be required to work later into the evening or night as needed.

Wage: $20.85/hour

Skills requirements:

Education:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Completion of a CPR course

Work experience:
• Minimum of 6 months of childcare experience in a private household
• Experience working with infants, and toddlers or pre-schoolers.
