Child Caregiver Full Time

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and children in the employer’s residence.
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and other daily care routines.
Change diapers and support toilet training according to parents’ instructions.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children.
Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and maintain feeding equipment.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for children.
Plan and organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
Promote children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
Teach and reinforce personal hygiene and positive social behaviours.
Escort children to and from school, appointments, and recreational activities.
Assist children with homework and learning activities as required.
Follow parents’ guidelines regarding discipline and daily routines.
Monitor children’s well-being and maintain records of daily activities and health-related information.
Prepare children for rest periods and bedtime routines.
Perform light housekeeping duties related to the care of children, including tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and meal clean-up.
Travel with the family when required and assist with child supervision during trips.

Other Requirements:
CPR and First aid certification
