Job duties:
– Supervise and oversee care for child in private home
– Feed, bathe, and dress child
– Plan and serve meals for children
– Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, laundry, and dishwashing
– Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the child
– Plan and transport child, as necessary, for various activities inside and outside of the home
– Keep records of any health-related incidents and report to parents at the end of each day

Terms of employment: Full-time (between 30-40 hours per week); morning, daytime, and weekend shifts

Wage: $21.00/hour

Education required: Completion of high school is required. Completion of post-secondary education in child care, or related field, may substitute for required work experience.

Work experience required: Minimum of 12 months of experience providing child care in commercial or a private setting is required.

Language requirement: Fluent communication in English is required.

Skill Requirements: First Aid Certification is required, and proof of certification will be requested during hiring process. Child Intervention Check/Vulnerable Sector Check will be required for all required upon hiring.
