Job requirements:
Languages: English or French
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 2 years of construction experience is required

Own tools/equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots

Responsibilities:
Tasks:
1. Load, unload, and transport construction materials:
a)Unload and load materials from the trailer
b)Lift and handle equipment and materials
c)Clean and maintain all construction tools, work area, and equipment.

2. Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring, barricades, ladders and boom lifts

3.Prepare, mix, and apply materials:
a)Prepare of surfaces for caulking, including cleaning and removing old caulking material.
b)Learn and apply proper caulking techniques to seal joints in various construction materials, such as concrete tilt-up panels, masonry control joints, metal flashings, wood siding, window & door perimeters, etc.
c)Installation of backer rods and other materials to support the caulking.
d)Clean up and disposal of materials after completing caulking projects.
e)Maintain a clean and organized work area.
f)Repeat motions and tasks.

Credentials:
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) training

Experience and specialization:
Construction specialization: Industrial, Commercial and Institutional, Residential

Transportation/travel information:
Willing to travel, Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation

Weight handling :
More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
