Position Overview
Q Nails is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to process customer payments, support front-desk activities, and help maintain an organized reception and payment area.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system
• Receive and process payments by cash, debit card, and credit card
• Scan or enter service and product prices and provide receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges in accordance with salon procedures
• Calculate daily payments received and reconcile them with total sales
• Prepare basic daily payment and transaction reports
• Book and confirm customer appointments
• Answer basic customer questions about services, prices, and appointment availability
• Maintain a clean and organized reception, checkout, and payment area
Job Requirements
• Language: English. Vietnamese is an asset
• Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset; training will be provided
• Accurate, dependable, and comfortable handling cash and electronic payments
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
• Available to workday, evening, weekend, and flexible shifts as required
