Job Duties:
1.Cut, trim, debone, and prepare meat products according to wholesale order specifications and company quality standards.
2.Break down whole poultry carcasses into standard and specialty cuts including breasts, thighs, wings, drumsticks, and other portioned products.
3.Prepare products for further processing by portioning, marinating, or grinding when required for specific customer orders.
4.Weigh, portion, package, and label poultry meat products for distribution to restaurants, retailers, and food service clients.
5.Inspect products to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
6.Store products in refrigerated or frozen storage areas and maintain proper product rotation to preserve freshness and prevent contamination.
7.Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by following established hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
8.Monitor inventory levels of meat products and raw materials and report shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
9.Assist with preparing bulk wholesale orders and coordinating packaging and preparation for shipment.
Qualifications:
1.Completion of secondary school.
2.Previous experience cutting and preparing meat products is highly preferred.
3.Ability to ensure product quality, accurate portioning, and proper labeling.
4.Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and the ability to prepare meat products according to wholesale and food service specifications.
5.Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with processing staff, packaging personnel, and supervisors.
