Roles and Responsibilities:
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of new platforms.
• Document and/or map business processes and procedures.
• Gather and analyze software’s process flows and assist with modifying to align with business processes and workflows.
• Perform data migration and entry.
• Perform system testing and remediation.
• Use data modelling techniques to identify effective operational efficiencies.
• Design business intelligence reports.
• Assess and advise on new technology and systems to provide data analysis and reporting required by management.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and collaborate with developers to implement solutions.
• Support, engage and coach staff throughout change management process.
• Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure smooth operation and alignment with business goals.
Job Specifications:
• Must have a positive attitude towards construction health & safety and continuous improvement.
• Degree or diploma in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related program.
• Education and experience in accounting and finance an asset.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and project management processes.
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Expert in excel macros, pivot tables, complex formulas and PowerBi.
• Experience with data modelling and creating process workflows.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail orientated and have problem solving skills.
• Experience with financial reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Automation software an asset.
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
• Problem solving and root-cause identification skills.
