Business Strategy Consultant – Product & Market Growth Full Time

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Business Strategy Consultant to advise on the growth and expansion of both our established wholesale tools operation (Primeline Tools Inc.) and our emerging home services platform (Roofmatch). The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of market entry strategies, product innovation, and operational optimization. This role involves cross-functional collaboration across physical product distribution and digital marketplace development.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct business analysis to support growth strategies in both B2B wholesale and B2C digital marketplace environments.
• Provide expert recommendations on product development, pricing, and positioning for Canadian and U.S. markets.
• Perform market research and competitive benchmarking for tools distribution and online platform services.
• Advise on customer segmentation and product-market fit for both business models.
• Support loyalty, engagement, and incentive program design for distributors, contractors, and homeowners.
• Evaluate internal workflows, logistics, and customer service models using frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile.
• Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs, performance metrics, and investment priorities.
• Support transition and integration strategies between traditional and digital sales channels.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 4 years of experience in business strategy or management consulting.
• At least 4 years of experience in product management or product operation management.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Proven record of success in advising or scaling businesses in both traditional industries and digital platforms.
• Strong command of strategic planning tools and software (e.g., Jira, ERP, MRP, CRM, Excel, SQL).
• Strong Command of Spire is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on experience in growth-stage companies or platform startups. Knowledge of the construction or home improvement industries is an asset. The ability to translate business insights into executable plans across different departments and business units is essential.
