****SHIFTS TYPICALLY START BETWEEN 2am AND 4am. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION AS THE BUS DOES NOT RUN AT THESE TIMES****
Duties
Prepare dough for bread, rolls and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Bake mixed dough
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Prepare special orders
Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
Decorate baked goods
Draw up production schedules
Train staff
Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
Schedule staff
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Operate machinery
Organize and maintain inventory
REQUIREMENTS:
– Minimum 2 year’s experience as a Baker using commercial mixers and ovens etc.
– Hard-working and high energy is a must
– Able to lift 50lbs, and physically fit
– Responsible and be dependable to show up for all shifts
– Positive attitude and able to take direction well
– Self-motivated and can work independently but in a team as well
– Understand work efficiency well and thrive to improve the productivity
– Passionate to produce high quality products consistently
– Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays
– Attentive to detail and understands the importance of a clean, organized kitchen
– Punctual & reliable to show up all scheduled shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
