Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs, the Associate Director of Communications and Marketing is a seasoned communicator and manager, who leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of SHARE’s integrated communications strategies and workplans. They inspire collaboration, leadership and creativity within the communications team and at the management table. They ensure excellence and consistency across all media and content, and a high standard of production across written, digital, and visual materials. They ensure organizational buy-in and timely execution of a SHARE-wide content plan and calendar.
Acting as the conduit between the communications staff and the management team, they develop and ensure execution of communications-specific policies and procedures, solve problems and overcome obstacles to SHARE’s visibility with key audiences and system partners. They lead on the development and execution of a marketing strategy designed to support SHARE’s sales and grant funding pipelines. The Associate Director guides management and SHARE-wide practices across programs using data and analysis to inform strategy and enhance organizational impact.
