Job Title: Flat Roofer Apprentice (Level 1–3)
Position Overview:
We are hiring a Flat Roofer Apprentice (Level 1–3) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will assist experienced roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of flat roofing systems while gaining hands-on experience in the trade.

Job Duties:
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofing systems (e.g., modified bitumen/torch-on, EPDM, TPO, PVC)
• Measure and cut roofing materials to specifications
• Prepare roof surfaces by cleaning, removing debris, and applying primers or adhesives
• Applying waterproofing materials to ensure proper sealing
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment
• Roof inspections and basic repairs
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including fall protection requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is an asset
• Registered as a Level 1 or Level 2 roofing apprentice, or willingness to register
• Previous roofing labor experience minimum of 1 year
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is an asset
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• On-the-job training will be provided

Wage:
$30.00 to $36.50 per hour (based on experience and apprenticeship level)
• Wage increases may be provided based on performance and progression within the apprenticeship program
