Adaptacare Personal Care Homes Inc is looking for an experienced, dependable and effective Administrative Officer to carry out administrative activities; create, monitor and evaluate administrative procedures and play a key role in undertaking and maintaining company accreditation pursuits in collaboration with the other site Managers.

25.96 to 35.40 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 hours per Week
Terms of employment: Term or contract
Successful applicant MUST be willing to commit to a Full time, Term or Contract employment initially at a minimum 1 year to maximum 3 years with a strong possibility of a full time continuing employment based on meeting job expectations.
Day, Morning, On Call, Weekend

Tasks
Implement new administrative procedures
Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
Delegate work to office support staff
Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
Carry out administrative activities of establishment
Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
Perform data entry
Train staff
Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
Resolve conflict situations
Monitor and evaluate
Oversee payroll administration
Plan and control budget and expenditures
