About the Company:
Merwars Lawyers is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our legal practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, supporting legal professionals, and managing systems that uphold compliance, confidentiality, and productivity.
Job main duties:
• Plan, organize, and oversee the operations of a department responsible for delivering one or more administrative services.
• Lead and provide guidance to staff involved in key administrative functions, such as records management, security, finance, procurement, and human resources.
• Manage and enforce corporate governance policies and ensure full compliance with internal regulations and legal standards.
• Develop, administer, and monitor departmental budgets, including those related to contracts, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and executive briefs for management and decision-making committees, assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative services.
• Conduct staff recruitment, lead interviews, and supervise training and onboarding processes to ensure optimal team performance.
Job requirements:
• Minimum high school education is required. Applicants with higher post-secondary education in business administration or related administrative services field experience may be eligible for consideration.
• Minimum Four (4) years in legal office management is required.
• Minimum Four (4) years experience operating with QuickBooks and PC Law softwares.
