Job Description:
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable related invoicing and cash receipt transactions. Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relations with customers as a vehicle for the timely collection of funds and the efficient resolution of problems.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Process product related accounts receivable invoices and forward to the customer via the customer’s preferred method.
• Reconcile bank on a daily and monthly basis.
• Process work order and shipping transactions required to facilitate the generation of invoices for non-product related items and forward to the customer via the customer’s preferred method.
• Contacting customers with overdue accounts and utilize professional judgment in negotiating suitable payment arrangements with customers.
• Process cash receipts.
• Reconcile accounts, verify balances, and maintain customer files.
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts.
• Identify and resolve problems related to customer invoicing and payments in a timely manner.
• Respond to requests for information from customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle the Airbus intercompany reconciliation process using ICART and the P&L process as defined by Airbus.
• Send monthly statements to customers and follow-up on any differences identified.
• Work closely with Program Managers to ensure customer accounts are kept current.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Education:
– Post-secondary education with concentration in Accounting or Commerce OR equivalent combination of relevant education and related work experience.
– Applicants must possess a work history that highlights the following combination of skills and experience:
• Three (3) years of experience in an Accounts Receivable position or similar role is desired.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be well organized, detail oriented, and demonstrate the ability to function with a high degree of independence and autonomy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word) with a high level of proficiency in Excel.
Wages:
• $22.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour
