Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Office Accountant to handle AP, AR, Bank and SAP Business One reconciliation, Wisys reconciliation, and ensure the accurate and efficient management of financial records. The Office Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and integrity within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Oversee the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments and collections.
4. Payroll Administration:
Coordinate payroll processing activities, including employee timekeeping, payroll deductions, and tax compliance, to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
5. Financial Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax laws, through regular audits and internal controls.
6. Cash Management:
Monitor cash flow and liquidity levels, making recommendations for optimizing cash reserves and investments to support operational needs.
7. Financial Analysis:
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes and identify areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
8. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the accounting department, implementing solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, or minimum experience
2. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with electronic manufacturing and wholesale distribution.
3. Technical Skills:
Extensive knowledge with SAP Business One (ERP) required, Extensive knowledge with Wisys (WMS) required. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
