Packaging Technician / Quality Control Inspector Full Time

About the Role

Packaging Technicians ensure finished goods meet safety and quality standards. You’ll inspect packaging for proper seals, dimensions, and labeling, helping to maintain product integrity before shipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect and test finished packaging materials for defects or contamination

• Verify labels, lot codes, and expiry dates

• Operate basic testing instruments (tensile tester, micrometer, caliper)

• Document inspection data and report non-conformances

• Support continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce waste

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or college certificate in quality or manufacturing (asset)

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Basic math and computer literacy for data entry

• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates

Wage Range Estimate (Ontario)

• Low: $18.00 / hr

• Median: $22.50 / hr

• High: $26.00 / hr
