You’ll work directly on the production floor, helping turn raw ingredients into packaged food products. This role is hands-on and fast-paced. You’ll follow recipes, operate machines, check finished goods, and help keep the line moving.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Feed raw ingredients into machines, monitor the mixing, baking, slicing, or filling process
Inspect products for defects, weight, packaging, appearance
Pack finished goods into boxes, containers, or cartons
Label, sticker, seal, or palletize products
Assist with machine changeovers and cleaning procedures
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of your workstation
Report malfunctions, defects, or safety issues to your supervisor
Participate in training, quality programs, and team meetings
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience
Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to ~ 20–30 kg) for extended periods
Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail
Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends as needed
Ability to follow standard operating procedures, food-safety rules, and safety guidelines
Previous experience in food or manufacturing is an asset (but many roles include on-the-job training)
Working Conditions
Cold, humid, or wet environments (depending on product)
Noisy machinery and repetitive tasks
Requirement to wear protective gear (hairnets, gloves, ear protection, etc.)
