Location: Near Webequie First Nation, Ring of Fire Region Company: Wyloo Canada Wage: $26 to $30 per hour Schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off – fly-in/fly-out with camp housing
Job Summary: We’re looking for a thoughtful, observant person to help care for the land during mining exploration. As an Environmental Monitor, you’ll support our team by tracking changes in water, air, and wildlife near our site and making sure we meet high environmental standards.
What You’ll Do:
Take regular water and soil samples
Observe and document wildlife activity
Report any environmental concerns to the site lead
Work respectfully with nearby First Nations and support traditional knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For:
Interest in environmental science or land stewardship
Good note-taking and observation skills
Basic computer and data entry ability
A valid driver’s licence is helpful
Preferred Qualifications:
College diploma in environmental science, natural resources, or related field
Indigenous land-based knowledge is highly valued
