The Career Foundation’s Completing the Circle is a youth employment and skills development project funded by Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS). Completing the Circle fosters the development of, and provides flexible, individualized support to, youth with multiple barriers to employment. Our team of Career Development experts offer links to employment opportunities for motivated youth job seekers and workers. Through the program, youth participants are empowered to find employment, equipped with tools, supports, new skills, and the confidence to start and maintain work. Through the program, CTC youth participants take their first steps towards meaningful careers now and into the future. Our focus is on quality work opportunities for youth, employment maintenance, and career advancement, professional development and training, and enhanced supports, that are flexible and adaptable to the needs of youth.
Enhanced supports may include:
Short-term emergency supports (on a case-by-case basis)
Mental Health Wellness workshops and one-to-one counseling
Financial Literacy Training and one-to-one budgeting and planning support
Training and Certification
Case Management and Wraparound support
