The Director of Environment Protection provides strategic leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental policies, programs, and regulations. This role is responsible for protecting environmental resources, ensuring compliance with environmental laws, building environmental awareness and advocating for the environmental interests within the context of traditional knowledge and Kanien’kehá:ka values, and advancing sustainable practices in alignment with organizational goals and applicable legislation.
Education & Experience
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Environmental Assessment, plus three (3) years relevant experience in a related field
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Environmental Science, plus five (5) years relevant experience in a related field
OR
High School Diploma, plus ten (10) years relevant experience in a related field.
Indeterminate, Full time
Twelve (12) Month Probation Period
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(40 hours per week)
