Field Service Representative Full Time

Job Description
KTI Utility Services Inc. is excited to announce a new Field Service Representative position. If you consider yourself to be an independent worker, with a great attitude, that enjoys interacting with customers and working outside, then this job is for you!
The position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, construction type experience and a good understanding of working with hand tools. Your primary role will entail installing gas meters at residential and commercial customers.

What would your day look like as a Field Service Representative?

· Install gas meters at residential and commercial customer addresses
· Ensure compliance with installation procedures
· Conduct testing of the meter
· Follow safety procedures and standards for safe and accurate installations
· Document installation completion through handheld device
· Complete required documentation and report to the Supervisor
· Communicate with customers regarding the installation process
· Follow up with customer regarding any concerns of the installation process

Qualifications:
· Construction/Trades/Labour: Minimum of 1-year experience
· High school diploma or GED
· Familiarity with hand tools
· Mechanical aptitude
· Previous experience installing gas meters, plumbing, or a related field is an asset
· Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Comfortable using electronic handheld devices for work order input
· Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
· Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment up to 50 lbs
· Must be able to work most of the day on your feet, lifting, bending, working outside
· Able to work outside in both cold and hot weather
