CHILD CAREGIVER-PRIVATE HOME Full Time

Main Intersection: Bathurst St. and Wilson St.

Salary: $15.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time, Day

Monday to Friday 9:30 am-5:30 pm with 1 hour unpaid break

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate

Experience: Experience an asset

Work Setting: Employer’s home; Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Children’s Age: 1 year old and 4 years old

Specific Skills: Bathe, dress and feed children; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Tend to emotional well-being of children; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Prepare children for rest periods; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Supervise and care for children; Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.

Additional Skills: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
