The People and Culture Associate is responsible for delivering timely, accurate and confidential client service to leaders, staff and faculty including triaging and responding to inquiries, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and acting as the department lead for systems administration including the HRIS and Applicant Tracking System. The position works closely with all People & Culture team members and will be exposed to employee and labour relations, records and systems management, pension and benefits. With a focus on engagement, the Associate participates in the development and coordination of JIBC’s reward and recognition programs and takes a lead role in designated projects and initiatives.
In this term position, the Associate may work on department process improvements, onboarding enhancements and the development of a robust employee orientation program.
