Family caregiver Full Time

Job Overview
Seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to the elderly couple. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others, particularly seniors and those with special care needs. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and companionship.

Available Job: 1 – Full time with contract
Start : ASAP or atleast first week of November 2024
Salary range: $18-21            Work hours range: 40-44hrs per week
Work Schedule: Must be Flexible- Day, Evening Morning, afternoon
Location: L4L 3Y5- Woodbridge, ON.

Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring adherence to care plans.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Maintain cleanliness in the client’s living space, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
perform light housekeeping-cleaning duties
perform laundry
Requirements:
7 months to less than 1 year experienced
Have equivalent high school diploma
Speak english and none smooker
Can work at employer private home
Have Clean criminal background check
Experience
Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with senior care practices, including hospice and dementia care, is advantageous.
A background in nursing or related fields is a plus but not required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families are crucial for success in this role.
