Global Compliance and Reporting
GCR provides quality corporate tax compliance and provision services in many industries, such as consumer products, energy, financial services, manufacturing, technology, entertainment, communications, and health sciences.
Private Client Services
PCS advises private organizations and high net worth business owners and individuals on domestic and cross-border tax planning, estate, wealth transfer and postmortem planning, asset protection strategies and philanthropic planning.
International Tax and Transaction Services
ITTS is made up of 5 sub specialities, International Tax Services, Transaction Tax Services, US Tax, Transfer Pricing and Data Intelligence. This group of teams provides tax services for many of the world’s largest multinational organizations helping these corporations identify and solve complex domestic and international tax issues and assist them in successfully aligning all the different areas of taxation into a benefit-driven strategy.
Business Tax Services
BTS has 5 distinct groups – Business Tax Advisory, Customer Tax Operations and Reporting, Quantitative Services, Corporate Law, Tax Policy & Controversy and Tax Technology & Transformation. BTS provides clients a range of specialized services in tax litigation, policy and reporting, tax credits, including SR&ED, tax data analytics and custom tax application development as well as business law services.
Indirect Tax
The Indirect Tax team identifies tax planning opportunities to help clients minimize their tax burden as well as fulfill compliance responsibilities and avoid tax penalties. Sub specialities are Indirect Tax Recovery, assisting clients and Global Trade.
People Advisory Services – Reward, Mobility and Immigration
PAS Reward is one of the leading providers of professional and actuarial services, specializing in pension, employee benefits, and human resources issues.
PAS Mobility services include Canadian and US personal income tax compliance and advisory services; mobility policy design; executive compensation advice; employer tax advice; and global coordination.
PAS Immigration advises on immigration issues and the use of international agreements in immigration matters, arranges entry visas, work permits or permanent resident status.
What we look for
• A university degree in business, finance, accounting, law or another discipline relevant to the area of specialization
• Enrollment in, or intention to enroll in an applicable tax credential program such as Canadian CPA, US CPA, US Enrolled Agent, Master of Taxation, Master of Laws in Taxation, In-depth Tax Course, In-depth GST / HST Tax Course
• Strong analytical abilities, a process-oriented nature and an excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
• A collaborative, proactive approach to work, a high level of drive, motivation, and commitment
