Drywall Helper Full Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Drywall Helper to join our team. The successful
candidate will assist skilled drywall installers with a variety of tasks, including measuring,
cutting, and installing drywall panels. You will also be responsible for preparing materials,
transporting tools, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist drywall installers in installing and securing drywall sheets to ceilings and walls using
nails, screws, or glue
– Assist drywall installers in Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and
ceilings
– Prepare materials, tools, and work areas for drywall installation
– Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas
– Clean and prepare surfaces for the installation of drywall
– Assist with sealing joints between sheets of drywall using tape and compound
– Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling debris, sweeping up, and disposing of waste
properly
– Carry and position heavy materials like drywall sheets and other building supplies

Requirements:
– Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
– Familiarity with tools and construction techniques (previous experience in drywall installation is
an asset but not required)
– Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
– Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
– Punctual, dependable, and willing to learn

Work Conditions:
– Full-time permanent position with a wage of $25 CAD per hour. Language of work: English
– Work is primarily indoors, with some outdoor job sites possible
– Exposure to dust, noise, and construction site hazards (safety equipment will be provided)
– Must be comfortable working in both residential and commercial settings
