Custodial Associate (Heavy Duty) Full Time Permanent

As a heavy duty Custodial Associate, reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction and the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reached by ladder and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor. This position works evenings 4:00PM – 10:30PM Monday to Friday. Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays.

Wage: $18.75 per hour

Number of employees required: 2

Your work will include:

• Cleans glass and or high dust in areas requiring ladders or extension poles
• Detail clean stairwells and elevator cabs where ladders are required
• Washes large floor surface using mop, walk behind or a ride on floor machine
• Wipes high level ledges and window sills
• Cleans partition glass and facility pillars/posts that are within arm’s reach
• Power wash curbside area as required
• Transports cleaning machinery, when necessary, between floors and work areas.
• Removes & transports garbage from drop points to garbage compactor
• Snow removal, curbside & building exterior as required
• Strips and wax hard surfaces

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Must have 6 months or more experience operating cleaning equipment 
• Must have a willingness to work with cleaning machines
• A clear criminal record.
• Fluent in English.
