Hours of Work: 35 – 40
Salary: $20 – $25/hr based on experience
SUMMARY
As part of the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund (DWF) team, the Data & Impact Assistant will support DWF’s impact measurement work through data collection, management, and analysis. The Data & Impact Assistant will also support the ongoing development and automation of DWF’s database, Salesforce, as well as data entry, clean-up, and general administrative tasks.
As DWF continues to rapidly grow and expand, a willingness to be nimble, flexible, and accommodate ongoing change is necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Use various platforms, such as Salesforce, to monitor and collect data on DWF key performance indicators for continuous evaluation of all DWF programs, initiatives, and events, including the DWF Fund
· Support with Salesforce administration such as user management, maintaining fields, objects reports, dashboards, workflows, campaigns and other Salesforce functions
· Data entry to improve data quality and integrity by merging duplicates, performing imports and updates as required
· Assist analysis of DWF’s evaluation, business, and operations to determine success and impact
· Assist in resolving service request tickets by all departments to ensure DWF services and system operations remain functional
· Work across departments to gather qualitative and quantitative data to understand DWF’s impact of reconciliation within stakeholders and Canada.
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be registered with Miziwe Biik Aboriginal Employment and Training
· Strong time management skills with an ability to plan, define measurable objectives, outcomes and meet timelines
· Exceptional knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, internet, and general office equipment
· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
· High attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks consistently and effectively
· Demonstrated professionalism and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality
· Knowledge on data regulations, privacy, ethical use of data, data sharing, and access management is considered an asset
· Experience with data fundraising software is considered an asset
