CHILD CAREGIVER – PRIVATE HOME Full Time

Location: Edmonton, AB

Main Intersection: Riverside Drive NW & Summit Point NW

Salary: $16.00 hourly for 43 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time, Shift, Day, Evening

Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 11:00 am; 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Friday, 7:00 am – 11:00 am; 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate

Experience: Experience an asset

Work Setting: Employer’s home; Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Children’s Age: 14 and 15 years old

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children; Tend to emotional well-being of children; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.

Additional Skills: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Security and Safety: Criminal record check
