Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ $70,354.20 to $ $87,942.74 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role
Join the Talent Acquisition Team, where you will play a key role in attracting top talent to ensure that CMHC has the right people in the right position at the right time to effectively implement the Corporation’s strategy. As a trusted Talent Acquisition Partner and subject matter expert, you will provide strategic and tactical advice, services, and support to internal stakeholders. In this role, you will equally lead the full recruitment lifecycle and leverage your market expertise to make impactful hiring decisions.
This is a temporary position of 18 months.
What you’ll do:
• Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand business needs and role requirements.
• Determine sourcing and attraction strategies to fill positions in accordance with the established talent acquisition metrics and service level agreements.
• Coach, train, and assist Hiring Managers on appropriate interviewing techniques, applicant selection, salary negotiation and other topics related to Talent Acquisition best practices.
• Leverage a variety of sourcing methods (including data mining, resume database searches, LinkedIn Recruiter License, etc.) to source and attract diverse & top talent for CMHC.
• Evaluate candidates against minimum requirements by assessing behavioral competencies, past experiences, educational background, salary expectations, etc.
• Contribute to special projects related to continuous improvement initiatives in Talent Acquisition.
What you should have:
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field such as Psychology, Business Administration or Industrial Relations
• Five (5) years of recruitment experience managing high-volume of requisitions in a financial institution.
• Experience recruiting IT and Financial roles.
• Strong experience using social media, recruitment platforms or softwares ATS database, websites, Boolean searches and advanced sourcing techniques.
• Knowledge of Canadian applicable laws, policies and best practices related to talent acquisition.
• Experience using an ATS (SuccessFactors is preferred).
• Bilingual with strong interpersonal and communication skills in both official languages (French and English).
