Home Child Care Provider (NOC 4411) Full Time

We are Looking for home childcare provider who can provide care to our newly born (infant) an ongoing basis. We both work full-time and need someone who can supervise our child at our own house in our absence. Caregiver will be responsible for care and well-being, physical and social development of children, assist parents with childcare and may assist with household duties. They will be providing care primarily in our own home.
Job will be full time (30-35 hours per week)
Pay rate: 15.50 per hour (Vacation pay, medical insurance until enrolled into BC’s medical coverage plan and relocation cost will be covered by the employer if applicable).

Supervise and care for children in employer’s or own residence
Bathe, dress and feed the infant
Prepare formulas and change diapers for infant
Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties
Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Instruct children in personal hygiene
Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information
Language: English
Preference will be given to Canadian PR or Citizens
Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school may be required.
1-2 years related experience may assist but not mandatory
Child care or household management experience may be required.
Demonstrated ability to perform work is usually required.
First aid certification and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training may be required.
