Apprentice Carpenter-Joiner Full Time NEW

Darmac Framing Systems is looking to hire an Apprentice Carpenter-Joiner to work on our various job sites located in and around our base in Balzac, AB. The position reports directly to the site manager.

Your qualifications:

Read, speak and write in English

You are comfortable using hand tools, power tools and machines

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

Must be able to read a tape measure

Must be comfortable working at heights

You are reliable, able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment

You are able to work in a physically demanding job

You are able to lift up to 50 pounds

You are able to stand for extended periods of time

You have strong attention to detail and don’t mind repetitive tasks

You have reliable transportation to get to work. We cannot be reached by public transportation

Carpentry/Framing experience is considered an asset

Wage starting at $28/hr
