Are you a Red Seal Commercial Transport or Heavy Duty Mechanic with knowledge of Hydraulic Systems?
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of inspecting, servicing and repairing our fleet of equipment.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
• Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic Certification
• Experience on Forklifts; preference given to LPG and Diesel units
• 3 to 4 years experience as an apprentice
• Familiar with hydraulic systems, electronic controls
• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read technical diagrams and instruction
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• The ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems.
• Cummins certified
• CVI Certification
• Physical requirements of this position include the ability to push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 50 pounds
• Work well with others in a team environment
• Valid Class 5 License and clean drivers abstract
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will:
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance of Company fleet equipment including working with hydraulics, airbrakes, transmissions, and heavy duty diesel engines on fleet vehicles.
• Ensuring internal maintenance documentation is fully and accurately completed
• Utilizing diagnostic tools (ET) and technical manuals to pinpoint issues and develop effective repair solutions.
• Performing routine inspections and replace worn or damaged parts to prevent equipment failures and increase longevity.
• Performing all work in accordance with safe work practices and procedures, participate in safety inspections, audits and hazard analysis, follow and comply with all safety policies and regulations
• Installing new equipment and overhauling or modifiying current equipment as required.
• Assisting Maintenance Manager in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, (parts used, repairs made, and hours worked).
• Providing detailed reports on the condition of equipment, maintenance performed, and recommendations for future actions.
• Complete daily Technician reports
