Early childhood educator (ECE) assistant @ Eaglekids Learning Centre – Squamish Ltd Full Time

Eaglekids Learning Centre – Squamish Ltd, located at 38380 Buckley Avenue, Squamish, BC V8B 0E4, is now hiring for a full-time Early Childhood Assistant position (40 hours per week). The wage ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. There is one available opening for this role.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:7 months minimum, or professional training, or a combination of experience and professional education

Work setting: Child care centre
Tasks:
Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate
