What You’ll Do:
• Lead the enforcement of KFN laws with a fair and community-focused approach.
• Partner with agencies like RCMP and other law enforcement and regulatory agencies to ensure safety of community
• Conduct and manage investigations, prepare thorough investigative reports, and present evidence
• Design dynamic community safety initiatives that make a real difference.
• Patrol and respond energetically to keep our community secure.
• Foster educational and preventative strategies through mentorship and justice initiatives.
What You Bring:
• Experience & Passion: A background in law enforcement and a genuine desire to uplift community wellbeing.
• Skills That Shine: Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Cultural Insight: A deep understanding of First Nations governance and historical contexts.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with technology tools.
Your Credentials:
• Education and experience in policing and law enforcement
• Education and/or experience in judicial system administration
• Cultural Sensitivity acquired through experience working alongside Indigenous communities.
• Enthusiasm for personal and professional development.
• Must provide a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Background check.
