Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
2. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
3. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
4. Determine weldability of materials
5. Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
6. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
