WAREHOUSE RECEIVER

$20.00 per hour, 35-40 hours per week

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience : Experience an asset

Duties & Responsibilities
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
• Maintain internal record-keeping system
• Record shortages and reject damaged goods
• Route goods to appropriate storage areas
• Unpack goods received
• Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods
• Record incoming stock
• Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
• Provide customer service
• Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory Control Software & MS Excel
Equipment and machinery experience : Dollies , hand trucks, Pallet lifter
Work conditions and physical capabilities
• Attention to detail
• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Standing for extended periods
Weight handling : Up to 23 kgs ( 50 lbs)
