The Trade Supervisor, Services is responsible for developing teams of multi-discipline trades workers, resolves staffing requirements, and coordinates work assignments within an assigned Area. This individual is responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with shipyard safety, quality, and environment standards, policies and procedures.
To ensure standards are met the Trade Supervisor will regularly check on performance, conduct performance management tasks, including but not limited to: focusing trades employees, approving trade employee time cards, trade employee leave requests and ensuring the collective agreement is applied appropriately. The position reports directly to an Area Manager or SOC Manager and requires significant interaction with Trade Managers.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000-$127,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
