Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Prepare quality drinks, desserts, food for customers (e.g. coffee, alcohol, brunch)
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Twilight Café.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
• Communicate information and report feedback with store supervisors or managers
• Focus on providing a positive and respective environment during each shift.
• Operate the Point of Sales (POS) computer and safely handle cash
• Keep and organize board games in the store for the convenience and safety of customers
• Maintain bar inventory by replenishing stock when needed from storage
• Maintain safe and healthy work environments by following company standard operating procedures
• Maintain a consistently clean and well-maintained board games, sales floor and stock room and adhere to the cleaning schedule to prolong the life of all equipment
• Previous experience working in food and beverage is an asset but not a requirement.
• Fluent in English
Requirements for Store managers:
• Minimum 1 year related management experience required
• Previous coffee/bar/restaurant experiences are mandatory
• Related diploma/degree required
• Knowledge of food handling/smart serve
• Full-time only with flexible work availabilities, able to work night shifts
• Board Game knowledge will be an asset
