Join the Strategy sector within CMHC’s Innovation & Partnerships (I&P) Division, where we enable engagement and investment in, and scaling of innovative solutions that will lead to more affordable housing supply. In this role, you will be part of a team that leads the design and delivery of innovation programs to support and advance solutions for affordable housing. As the Specialist Innovation, you will bring your skills and experience in innovation, process and project management to the design and delivery of programs that support affordable housing.Â

Responsibilities:Â
Â
Significantly contributes to the design and delivery of innovation programs to support housing supply and affordability.
Significantly contributes to the development of and provides inputs into applicable innovation policies, guidelines, presentations, reports and plans to implement and maintain the innovation programs.
Contributes to the development of communications products related to innovation programs and activities with relatively high visibility and/or complexity.Â
Engages with external stakeholders in order to establish expert review committees and to support innovation program activities. Â
Builds and maintains internal relationships in support of innovation programs and activities with key influencers, senior management and other key stakeholders.
Engages in cross-functional activities and collaborates with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications:
Â
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Minimum of five years of experience with increasing responsibility in the delivery of innovation programs, program design and/or execution.
Developed innovation skills, process development and project management expertise.
Developed interpersonal, facilitation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Advanced analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to take initiative and work in a multi-team environment or independently.
Bilingual (French and English) is a strong asset
