ABOUT THE TEAM
The Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for leading PSP’s transversal partnership approach across a range of partners, including GP, banking, and peer relationships. The team collaborates closely with investment teams and the PSP Executive Committee, driving tangible value that aligns with and supports PSP’s strategic goals.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you will:
Support the execution of an organization-wide Partnerships strategy to enhance connectivity, facilitate information sharing and amplify PSP’s capabilities in creating and capitalizing on synergies. Leverage technology to streamline transversal communications and seamless information exchange
Identify, build and nurture high-quality strategic relationships, driving significant value and complementing PSP’s strengths across our ecosystem. Work closely with PSP teams in a cross-functional capacity, proactively planning activities to sustain and evolve the PSP partner ecosystem. This includes conducting comprehensive relationship reviews, both internal and external, and preparing executive briefings
Serve as an ambassador, representing PSP in the marketplace and within the organization. Contribute to the development and enhancement of PSP’s external brand, clearly communicating our strategy and approach to key partner relationships
Lead and mentor a team of junior resources, offering guidance to foster their professional growth
Engage in various strategic initiatives as the Strategic Partnerships representative, encompassing areas such as strategy, governance, communication, and process improvements. Articulate the team’s needs and requirements from a partnership perspective, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree with consistent outstanding academic record; advanced degree or MBA is desirable
Eight (8) + years of experience in relevant role(s)
Demonstrated leadership abilities in a team environment, including working transversally across teams and experience managing junior resources
Investment or financial services industry experience, which may include as a consultant
Results-oriented team player with the ability to work in a high-performing culture and to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise messages
Good communications skills in English and French (or willingness to learn) (regular interactions in English with investment partners based outside of Quebec Example: peers, bankers, brokerage firms, etc. and PSP employees in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
