The person who works as a quality assurance technician at Canlak will be responsible for:
Carry out the various tests required to check the acceptance parameters of finished products to ensure that they meet the minimum standards required by the company (viscosity, gravity, grind, luster, etc.) and produce the certificate of conformity ;
Perform baking tests for UV products;
Handle the spreads of two holds from the same vintage to check uniformity;
Identify the holdings corresponding to the vintage and classify them on the shelves;
Loan standards to production or the laboratory;
Identify newly coded standards and destroy standards when they have been out of use for more than 3 years;
See to the maintenance and calibration of quality control equipment such as the lustrometer, the viscometer, the scale and many others;
Classify customers’ color panels;
Carry out the tests upon receipt of the solvents. (BULK and other raw materials);
Handle complaints and returns;
Keep the workplace clean;
Support the department by carrying out any other tasks deemed essential by their immediate superior.
Requirements:
Training in chemistry or minimum experience of 4 years in a similar job;
Fluency in spoken English;
